Andrew Lomas - Special Commendee

Congratulations to Mr. Andrew Lomas, our Head of Religious Education.

Following his nomination for "The Guardian Award for Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School"

Andrew attended a regional ceremony at the Heritage Motor Museum in Warwickshire on Tuesday 15th June 2004.

We congratulate Andrew on receiving a Special Commendation Award from broadcaster Nick Owen,

a silver lapel badge, certificate and a cheque for the School.  Well done Andrew!

Andrew was able to share this wonderful experience with his wife Angela

and colleagues Miss C Layton and Mr. P Nicholds.

The Ceremony was a celebration of excellence in education across the West Midlands and was an opportunity to pay tribute to the enormous contribution made by all the Shortlisted Nominees to their schools and the wider community.
