The school is actively involved in work for charity, both for the local and wider community. The largest single event, which raises over £2000.00 annually, is the Sponsored Walk which supports local children's charities.

Christmas gift boxes for Eastern Europe made as part of the Samaritans Purse scheme

National events like Red Nose Day receive enthusiastic support, as does Children In Need. At Christmas, each tutor group makes up a hamper which is distributed to needy people by the Salvation Army. Smaller initiatives are always encouraged.
