PARENTS/CARERS

I/we shall:

· see that my son goes to school regularly, on time, properly equipped and prepared and in the correct uniform

· make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my son’s work, attendance or behaviour · support the school’s policies, procedures and guidelines · read, sign and comment in my son’s diary · endeavour to attend parents’ evenings and discussions about my son’s progress.

THE STAFF AND GOVERNORS

We shall:

· care for your son’s happiness and safety · ensure that your son achieves his full potential as a valued member of the school community

· provide a broad and balanced learning experience to meet the individual needs of your son

· keep you informed about general school matters and about your son’s progress in particular · be open and welcoming at all times and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the daily life of the school.

THE STUDENT

I shall:

· attend school regularly and on time

· bring all the equipment I need every day

· wear the school uniform with pride and be tidy in appearance

· do all my classwork and homework as well as I can

· be polite and helpful to others

· respect others and help to prevent bullying

· keep the school free from litter and graffiti

· respect and take care of property

· help communication between home and school.

We shall:

· achieve high standards of work and behaviour by mutual respect between staff, parents and students

· communicate effectively and develop a sense of responsibility

· adhere to agreed disciplinary procedures

· ensure that our policies reflect a caring school

· support learning to achieve personal best.

· continuously strive to improve the school for future generations.
