King's Norton Boys' School Parent Teacher Association have been running a "200 Club" for a number of years in order to raise valuable funds for the School and we would like as many parents, relatives, friends, teachers and old boys to join as is possible.

How it works is very simple.  Each member agrees to pay just £1 each month into the club.  Half of the income goes to the PTA to help the school and the other half is paid out in cash prizes over the year. 40% is paid out in monthly draws, with the extra 10% being added to two big draws each year in July and December.

For example if 200 people contribute monthly, then each month there should be £100 for the PTA and £100 in prizes.  As 40% of the receipts would be paid out each month this means:

Prizes each month:                        1st - £40        2nd - £25          3rd - £15

Plus special prizes twice yearly:    1st - £60        2nd - £40          3rd - £20

Of course it could be more. The more people who join, the bigger the Prizes!  And you can pledge more than £1 to increase your chances.

The club is open to all parents, friends, staff, old boys, governors of the school and relatives.

It is a simple and practical way to enable the PTA to provide the School with extra equipment and resources, which are always needed.  The PTA have most recently assisted significantly towards the purchase of the new school minibus and is now equally committed to replacing the older minibus.

It has also assisted with a wide range of items for Technology and Drama departments to name a few.  We put on other events where the goal is entertainment rather than fund-raising, such as quiz nights.  Increased income from the 200 club will mean that we can widen the events and increase our sponsorship of worthwhile School projects.

So please do join. In doing so you will have the satisfaction of knowing you are helping both your son and the School.

All you have to do is to obtain an application form from the school office. (please feel free to pop in, phone or email us).  This will contain an Standing Order form for your Bank.

Once we have your completed form you will be allocated a number which will be entered in the Draw each month. We will forward the form to your bank.
