Housed in a modern building, the light, airy Library Resource Centre is open from 8am - 3pm on Monday and Friday, and 8am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

It is used for private study by the Sixth Form and individual pupils from other forms in the school use it for research during lesson times. A quiet study room is attached to the Library.

The LRC has over 7000 books and also stocks magazines, newspapers and videos. There are programs available for use with the multimedia computers that are linked to the school network. Each computer has access to the Internet and every pupil is equipped with a personal e-mail address.

All issues and returns are dealt with by a computerised catalogue.

Reprographic facilities including scanning, laminating and photocopying are available and common items of stationery are available for sale.

A full time Librarian is at hand throughout the day to ensure that each and every pupil can benefit from the vast amount of resources available.
