King’s Norton Boys' has a tradition of sporting excellence in Football and Basketball. The year 2002-03 was an excellent year for our football teams with the Year 7 team winning the District Cup final, the Year 10's winning the King's Norton and South Birmingham League and the Year 11's also being triumphant in this competition. We also had a number of boys who went out to represent the District football sides, Aston Villa, Cheltenham Town and Birmingham City.

The Year 7 side was also successful in Basketball - winning the Birmingham Championships. The Year 9's, after winning their league, reached the semi-finals of the same competition.

The Hockey team were also victorious in winning the Selly Oak Championships and qualified to represent the district at the Birmingham Youth Games.

The Year 8 Indoor Athletics side again won the Selly Oak Championships and came fifth in the Birmingham Championships at the National Indoor Arena.

Cricket again proved to be a popular event with the Year 9 team winning the league.
