Congratulations to Phillip Morton and Thomas Richardson, Year 9, who represented the school in “The Great Water Race” organised by Severn Trent Water.  The aim of the competition was to design and build the fastest water-powered vehicle over a five-metre track.  Unfortunately, the vehicle failed to make it through the regional final but did record a very creditable 5.7 seconds, which almost matched the performance of our old adversary, Handsworth Grammar School.
